Leslie Jordan dead at 67

Leslie Jordan died Monday morning after a car crash, Jordan’s rep confirmed to Page Six. He was 67.

The famed comedian was driving in Hollywood when, it was later suspected, he suffered some sort of medical emergency and crashed his BMW into the side of a building.

The “American Horror Story” star was also known for his work in “Will & Grace,” “Hearts Afire” and “Call Me Kat.”

Jordan’s fame skyrocketed in the pandemic when he became a viral social media star for his heartwarming and comedic clips. He ultimately boosted his Instagram following from 50,000 to 5.8 million, where it stands currently.

An openly gay star, Jordan joked to Page Six that he knew he was homosexual “since birth.”

Throughout his career, Jordan also candidly discussed his substance abuse issues and the DUI that served as his rock bottom before getting sober.

Jordan once joked with Page Six that he ascended into “gay heaven” when he had the chance not only to meet Dolly Parton but also record with her for one of his albums last year.
