How McRib is made has McDonald’s customers reaching for barf bags

LIFESTYLE

Questionable footage has displayed the “nasty” process behind creating the McDonald’s McRib burger, with many customers vowing to never order the item again.

A video posted to Twitter evoked repulsion from thousands of viewers after it showed frozen blocks of the “rib” product being slapped onto a grill then placed into pullout containers filled with thick brown sauce.

It was unclear which store the footage was being filmed inside, however, it was suspected that most stores would follow the same process.

“It looks like a fried kitchen sponge soaked in BBQ sauce.”

The person to upload the video, which has been viewed more than 1.2 million times, suggested the ribs could barely be considered food.
