Here’s how much Netflix, Disney+ and other streaming services now cost

Last week, Netflix added a less-expensive, ad-supported subscription tier. Subscribers who choose that plan will see four to five minutes of commercials per hour.

However, Netflix executives say about 5% to 10% of its library is unavailable on the ad tier due to licensing issues.

Four major streaming services have already raised monthly subscription prices this year, and Disney+ is set to do so next month.

With all the price changes, it may be hard to keep up with the state of streaming subscriptions. Here’s a rundown:

netflix

• $6.99 a month for basic with commercials • $9.99 basic without ads • $15.49 standard without ads • $19.99 premium without ads

Disney+

• $7.99 a month On Dec. 8, Disney+ will raise its monthly fee for the commercial-free plan to $10.99 a month. The $7.99 price will remain for a new ad-supported tier.

Amazon’s Prime Video
