Amazon Prime’s Early Access Sale starts Tuesday — here’s what to know

Amazon is rolling out a new holiday shopping event this week called “Amazon Prime Early Access Sale.” Shoppers can get exclusive access to deals ahead of the holidays.

Essentially, it’s another Amazon Prime Day event, just with a different name.

Here’s what you need to know about the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale.

The savings event runs for 48 hours from Tuesday, Oct. 11 to Wednesday, Oct. 12.

When is it?

The sale begins at midnight PT (3 a.m. ET) on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

What time does it start?

Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, the U.K., and the U.S.

Which countries can participate?

Items for sale can be viewed on Amazon.com or the Amazon app, but only Prime subscribers have access to the sale prices.

How does the sale work?

Yes. People who sign up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime can participate in the sale.

Is Amazon’s Early Access sale only for Prime members?

The subscription is $14.99 a month or $139 for a full year.
